Infants

Every neonate admitted to NICU for > 24 h during the same period as the index patient’s infant

Entire period during admission of the index patient’s infant, regardless the time period to the diagnosis

TST and T-Spot at baseline, TST after 6 months of exposure

No prophylactic treatment, as exposure was at least 6 weeks ago at time of investigation

Relatives of contact infants

Every relative of a neonate admitted for > 4 days at the NICU during the same period as the index patient’s infant

Until 3 months before diagnosis and initiation of therapy of the index patient

TST or Quantiferon 8 weeks after last exposure, CXR in case of positive result

Isoniazid or rifampicin in case of newly diagnosed latent TB

Family members

Every family member
